Children's Mental Health
Children's Mental Health Week 2021 1st February.
Week of the 1st February to 8th February is Children’s Mental Health week, the theme this year is Express Yourself.
This is an event happening all across the United Kingdom.
There are some activities on the school’s Emotional well-being page to help your child learn about:
- Keeping calm
- What to do when you feel scared, sad or angry.
- Learning how to journal (how to plan and reflect)
- Ways you can express yourself.
There are lots of resources on the Children’s Mental Health Week website (www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk) that you can use with your child at home; including activity ideas, tips for parents and carers, and an online assembly which will be available from Monday 1st February.
