Uniform
Our pupils are ambassdors of our school and high standard of dress and appearance is expected at all times. We are very proud of our uniform and expect all pupils to keep within the guidelines set out below. The Governing Body of Thomas Whitehead CE Academy, together with the Headteacher, are responsible for setting school uniform regulations.
It is school policy that all children must wear school uniform. It is practical, hard wearing and more suitable for the activities that children engage in at school. A uniform also helps the children have a sense of belonging to the school and it is something we hope they will be proud to wear. The clothing does not have to be of a particular brand or purchased from a particular stockist but we do ask that all skirts and trousers are of a grey school uniform style.
We ask parents to clearly label their child's clothing so that it is easy to return if it should be misplaced.
Please see the School Uniform Policy below for details on items to be worn.
